Trek 6 Days
1
Day: Huaraz - Jahuacocha
early in the morning we will aboard our private bus, and leave to south side Huaraz passing for different small and typical towns of Recuay 3400, Ticapampa 3470, Catac 3640 and the small village Pachacoto 3700, from here we’ll leave the high way and continue in the east side surrounded by a lot of straw and we will start enjoying the beautiful landscape that matches the blue sky and the darkled green hills and far from here the snow peaked white mountains will match the landscape, continue to Chiquian 3400. Once we have gotten Conococha we will take the east high way a few kilometers, then from Mojon we start going down zigzag trail until Chiquian. Arriving aprox at 8am we will have breakfast in Restaurant Huayhuash, then we have to go down until Timpoc 2800 masl aprox, From here we will start again going-up along the Llamac river until the peasant town Llamac which lies at 3300 masl, here our donkey driver will be waiting for us and start our trekking up to Pampallamac 4500masl then we will start quite walking down a little then arrive to Jahuacocha around 5pm then camp at 3850

Day: Jahuacocha - Cuartelhuain
after the breakfast in the camp site jahuacocha, we will satrt pur hiking towards lake Jahuacocha we will walk closer to the lake Solterococha, the nice lake green color from here we will satr hiking up to rondoy pass 4800masl, from here we will have magnificient views of the Huayhuash mountains, then we will continue walking down along the rondoy valley after 3 hours walking we will arrive to our camp site of Cuartelhuain, dinner and overnight camping at 4300masl

Day: Cuartelhuain - Mitucocha
In the morning after the breakfast we’ll get ready our things and at 8 am we’ll start our trek, this time it’s going to be a bit difficult because the climbing to the pass will take us about 2 or 3 hours. From the pass we’ll go down then we’ll go-up aprox 30 minutes, we’ll have lunch after the small climb, We’ll take the alternative trail to get early the camping place and not for walking the same route the next day, in this route the passengers will appreciate the Andean rabbits called Vizcachas. Followed to catch by local citizens by its tasty meat, so once we have arrived to our camping place early we’ll have time to go fishing around the lake while our cook prepares the dinner. We will camp at 4200 masl |

Day: Mitucocha - Carhuacocha
as always after our breakfast and packing our things, we’ll start our trekking at 8 am today it is going to be easy. After 3 hours walking we’ll reach the pass where we’ll have lunch, We’ll walk always enjoying the white peaked mountains such as Yerupaja, Jirishanca, and Siula, we’ll get our camp place aprox at 3 or 4 pm. We’ll be surprised by a beautiful lake, keeping the mountain’s silhouettes green colored, so we will have prepared our camp place in the special place facing to the lake. we will have camped at 4138 masl |

Day: Carhuacocha - Queropalca - Baños
we will have breakfast early in the morning in our camp site in carhuacocha then we will walk up to the lake siula, then come back to Carhuacocha and walk dawn the valley to Queropalca, here our car will be waiting for us and drive us to Baños district a small disctrict of Hunuco, here we will be instaled in a small loding house next to the Inkas Bath Hotsprings, we will apreciate the inkas bath and the inka trail which leads to Hunucoviejo from Cusco. dinner and overnight in Baños Lodging House

Day: Baños - Hunuco Viejo - Huaraz
after the breakfast in the lodging house in baños we will apreciate the inka Trail in its originas paved of stone and the inka's bath thermal hotsprings, then aboprad our car and drive to Hunucoviejo passing by Rondos samll typical village, then arrive to Hunucopampa around 1pm here we will visit the Inkas town of Hunucopampa, huge ruins where each 28 and 29 July is celebrated Inty Raymi, we will veisit the central part of the huge archeaological center and have lunch, then continue back to Huaraz passing by small villages such as La Union and Huallanca, driving in paved way from Huallaca to Huaraz arriving to Huaraz around 7pm. direct to Hotel |
